Questions
What do you need on site?
One regular 120 V outlet, a space about 2 m by 2 m, and a roof over our heads (indoors or a covered tent). We bring the machine, the table, the thread and everything else.
How loud is the machine?
About 80 decibels while it stitches. That is like a busy restaurant or a vacuum cleaner a few steps away, and quieter than a blender. Perfect for a shop, a party or a trade show, but not silent, so we set up away from speeches and quiet ceremonies.
How many pieces can you stitch per hour?
About 6 to 10 pieces an hour for a name or a small design. Our machine runs around 700 stitches a minute, and a name takes 3 to 6 minutes plus hooping. A 3-hour booking is about 20 to 30 pieces. For bigger groups, we stitch your logo ahead of time and add the names live.
Which items can you embroider?
Caps, tees, crewnecks, hoodies, tote bags, aprons, towels, robes and baby items. Guests can also bring their own piece. We stitch up to about 4 in (10 cm) on site.
One kind per event: caps, or flat items like tees, totes and hoodies. The machine is set up for one or the other, not both.
Can we use our own logo?
Yes. Send it when you book. We turn it into a stitch file (one-time $35) and show you a proof before the day.
Which thread colours can we have?
You pick 6 colours from the full Isacord catalog, over 390 shades, to match your theme or brand. Metallic gold, silver and more are included, plus glow-in-the-dark and reflective thread. Guests choose from those 6 on the day. Not sure? Tell us your theme and we suggest 6.
How far ahead should we book?
At least 3 weeks, so we can order your items and prepare the designs. Weekends in December and June go fast.
How do we hold the date?
A deposit of 50% of the quote holds your date. The rest is paid after the event.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel 7 days or more before the event and we refund your deposit, minus any items we already bought for you. Within 7 days, the deposit is kept. Need another date instead? We move your booking once for free, if you tell us at least 7 days ahead.
